Sadhana by Rabindranath Tagore
I really liked this book by Tagore not because I learned something new
from it as much as it reaffirmed and clarified that which I already
believed in a beautiful way. The text uses Hinduism and Buddhism as a
reference for understanding the concepts of the divine and how the
individual soul is always yearning for the divine.
God has stood aside from our self, where his watchful
patience knows no bounds, and where he never forces open the doors if shut against him.
And
In my work is my joy, and in that joy does the joy of my joy abide.
